I found this picture of baby faced Brad and Ed Norton that had an uncanny resemblance to Jack Kerouac's cover of his most celebrated book On the Road . I find it interesting because not only is there an aesthetic resemblance, there is a similarity in the premise to boot. Fight Club and OTR was about a man without a plan. Lost in the everyday shuffle, looking for a little adventure time whether it be within themselves or through the eyes of another person. I think some people find escapism fun and sometimes necessary, it acts as mothers little helper for the mundane day to day grind. There is a Tyler Durden in us just as there is a Dean Moriarty type of friend that we have come admire or come to despise. There is a lot that can be learned by walking in someone elses shoes. There is an alter ego in us all. Let'em out once and a while, it could be fun.
Nice analogy
